While having a set schedule and routine is important for meals, naps, and potty checks, I am also very flexible with our day. Circle time includes our theme for the week, abc's, counting, and a related story with an art activity, experiment, or math activity, appropriate for their age. On nice days, we spend upwards of two hours outdoors. On days when the cold or extreme heat keeps us inside, we do as many big moves as we can through dance, yoga, hopscotch, and follow the leader.
